Our speaker for the evening is Teddi Barenholtz, PT, MS, CIMI, RYT and founder of Yogabilitation in Fairfield. Teddi Barenholtz is an early intervention therapist working in Fairfield. She has a private practice working with special needs children, teaching yoga to children and adults, and giving workshops for Radiant Child Yoga. Teddi's expertise in physical therapy allows her to evaluate each child or adult and apply yogic and therapy techniques most beneficial to the individual.
Teddi has 25 years experience as a physical therapist, holds an MS in Exercise Physiology, is certified as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, a YogaKids Facilitator, in Yoga for the Special Child Levels 1 & 2, as an Infant Massage Instructor, and as a Radiant Child Yoga Program Facilitator.
Teddi will introduce us to the principles of her work and will guide us in some of the basic techniques she uses in her practice. This presentation promises to be beneficial to those who are looking for new tools to use, for themselves or their children, in the quest for a better quality of life.
