Welcome!

Dear Members:

As I reflect on the past NAMI-Fairfield year, I am reminded of the hard-work, commitment, success and fun we have had as a group. Our efforts of the past year have been above and beyond our goals and expectations. To highlight a few, we launched the NAMI-Fairfield website, held the annual NARSAD notecard fundraiser, raised money for the NAMI 2006 walk, developed the Mental Health Resource Binder for educators and donated library books on mental health issues to each Fairfield Public school on behalf of the Adam Gardner Memorial Fund, presented two $250 scholarships, initiated CIT meetings with the Town of Fairfield, provided NAMI literature for the Fairfield University Wellness Center Health Fair and sponsored an “In our own Voice” presentation with the School of Nursing at Fairfield University. For more details about all we have done and for important information on upcoming meetings, events and projects please check the website (or call 259-8396 X30 for updates if you don’t have internet access). I would also like to acknowledge and thank Laurie Pearcy for her year of service as Vice-President. I hope to get to see many of you in the months ahead at our NAMI meetingsl. Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,
Betsy
